A little more about KARA

Kara was formed by a group of kayak and adventure enthusiasts. After many years of exploring the world we decided to come together and share our knowledge and experience with others. KARA is a limited company owned by fiver partners who operate and run each of our river trips. We have each worked in the field with young people for over a decade.

Kara's connection with Zambia and the Zambezi River is very strong, visiting Zambia on numerous occasions for both work and pleasure. We are very familiar with the river, traveling in Zambia and are use to dealing with diverse in-country issues.

At KARA we believe in high safety standards and run a one to four ratio on the water, carrying with us extensive safety equipment.

For our Zambezi trip Deb will be taking care of our ground logistics and will be meeting all participants at Heathrow airport and accompanying them to Lusaka.
